More and more tests!

So Tamsyn and I went to Chicago today, and we told the Doc our story of the last two years, and the Doctor said, "OK, lets run some more tests!" So thats what we did. 5 Vials of blood, a cup o' urine, and x- rays on her knees and feet, and I am still none the wiser on her condition. I am to buy her gel inserts for her feet, and I have some prescription anti-inflammatory to give her. I am to do this for 2 weeks and then give the doctor a call. Sooooo, I will let ya'll know when I find out more. Tamsyn was a champ. She nearly passed out again when they took her blood, but I was prepared for it this time and made her lie back down and gave her an orange to eat. As for me, I DROVE TO CHICAGO WITHOUT GETTING LOST OR KILLED! Coming from a po-dunk town like Victor, where I don't have to travel much, let alone in a huge city like Chicago, that is a BIG deal. I am so glad it is over, hopefully we will never need to go back. Thanks to all my dearest peeps, who were thinking of me today and saying prayers. It is very mush appreciated. I am exhausted, and I going to go RELAX. Sharon out.

Ba! Sharon, I haven't looked at your blog in forever! I had NO idea about Tamsyn! I'm so sorry, that's scary. You'll be in our prayers. Also, I really loved your post about your SIL having the twins, and about over scheduling C-sections. It made me snicker.

that is so scary. I hope you get some answers and that all she needs are shoe inserts and anti inflammatory drugs. I do have to give you props for driving to Chicago and not getting lost. That's tough.

I never attempted the drive to Chicago while we were in South Bend for that reason. Kudos to you!

And I'm sorry that you didn't get a clear answer about Tamsyn. That is really frustrating. I hope the next couple of weeks clears things up for you, and I really hope Tamsyn starts to feel better.

podunk town?? Really? Come on, we have an anytime fitness here now :)

Well I hope that in the end all of this with Tamsyn turns out to be no big deal, but I'm still so sorry she has to get all these tests done. That is no fun. She's so brave.
