Downtown South Bend
Here are a couple of very talented kids playing the drums. The drums are actually plastic buckets! They even say Lowe's on the side.

Sylas is Crawling!
Here He is, a full 2.5 months ahead of my other babies! And he completely skipped army crawling for the real kind of crawling. This just started yesterday. (And yes it is sideways again, and NO I won't ever learn!)

Quilt Day!
So I am starting quilt day and I get to buy material with the Village's money!. So I had a great time yesterday picking out fun fabrics to turn into quilts. This is enough for 5 quilts, except for the batting, I only got four. But I am excited about the fun bright colors and I am excited to start piecing. All the quilts will be going to a local homeless shelter.

Curious George
Okay, so when I was little, I remember my mom taking me to the mall and making me sit on Santa's lap and I would cry and I HATED it! Santa always had bad breath and I was really shy. Well, today I realized that I am turning into my mom. (I mean that in the kindest sense of course, right mom?) We had story time at the library there were at least 100 kids there, not an exaggeration. It was crowded, loud and we couldn't hear the stories. The Librarian gave up and just had curious george come in and half the kids started crying and the moms were making the kids take pictures with George. Sadly, I was no exception. Take a look at Gunnar. He was terrified of the huge monkey. Also, Sylas found his tongue.

How cute is this!
So I am going through some of my old tapes, and this one never made it into one of my homemade movies, but it is hilarious! Tamsyn and Ander did this all themselves and then asked me to come and watch. I grabbed the video camera, because as you can see this is priceless!

South Bend Zoo
We had a great Saturday! We went to the Local Zoo, bought a years family pass, and I plan on going lots for the rest of the summer. We lost Gunnar for about 5 minutes. That was awful. He ran the wrong direction and ended up at the beginning of the zoo. Lohn and I split up, and I was running in my flip flops yelling his name. I got lots of weird looks, but who cares right? Anyway, Lohn found him and he was pretty shaken. Poor kid said, "Mom I thought I lost you!" After lots of begging, we took the kids on the train. That and the fish was the highlight of the day. Look below for the fish. It was unreal and kinda gross.

The Wonders of Tylenol
So with a high temperature and after hours of Gunnar laying on the couch and never moving, and watching Chicka Chicka Boom Boom over and over again at least twenty times (I used to think it was a cute show, but not any more, I HATE it!) I finally gave him some tylenol and here are the results.

Go IRISH!!
We had a fun weekend! It was ND first Football game of the season, against Nevada and we killed them, and the kids helped out at the concession stand. All profit benefits the Village where we live. The kids job was to hold signs and chant. They did great and our concession stand made more money than anyone else's all because of my cute children!
