Gym Bus

They come once a month in a hollowed out, carpeted bus and teach the kids gymnastics. It is so much fun!
Not bad for just one dollar!

A Visit From Grandma!

So Grandma came for the week! We had a great week. We went swimming, dinner at friends, quilting at quilt day, childrens museum, tour up at Notre Dame Campus, Girls night out at the movies (sherlock holmes) Brunch at the Community Center and Shopping, early easter basket hunting, and we went to Amish country just 40 minutes away. It was FUN, and I am sad she had to go, and so are the kids.

Costume parade

So, I don't really get it, but our Village had a Costume parade for the kids. They dressed up and we had them parade around the community center. Tamsyn's outfit was her own idea and created the crown herself. Sylas was feelin' cool wearing Mehreen's shades. I bet you can't find Ander and Gunnar in the last picture...

Amish Country

So the Carousel was over one hundred years old (but the animals were just 6 years old) and we had a great time shopping for Amish made items. I bought jam and a doilie! My mother in law bought a rug. We saw buggies and lots of Amish people. And guess what? They aren't that different from us! Who knew? And NO I DIDN'T make her sit in the back of the van, she INSISTED! (That was on a different trip)

Vids of the fun day

My all time favorite was the boy in the bubble!

It's a small world after all!

So I went to with the kids to go cheer on Lohn while he plays church ball, and guess who we saw? THE BALLS FROM TETON VALLEY! Brother and Sister Ball are here on their one year mission doing microfilming. I didn't ever know them, but they thought they recognized Lohn. It is amazing to me just how many people know where Victor and Driggs are. It is such a small place, but it's like the whole world revolves around Teton Valley. I also broke down and bought Idaho potatoes today. Who knew that not all potatoes are created equal? I have to say, I miss my valley!

CLIMBER!

I have been blessed with three children content to stay firmly planted to the ground, for which I am very grateful. But the Lord has seen fit to bless me with a Climber, perhaps so I can now sympathize with the other poor hassled parents of Climbers. A couple of days ago, Sylas discovered that while he can't walk, he does have the talent for reaching high places. Yesterday I found him on Anders Chest of Drawers, on top of the toilet, on the chair banging on the computer, and on the kitchen table. In frustration I took him to the Community center to get a moments respite, and he climbed on the tables there and up my friends stroller. He is only content if he is climbing and screams mercilessly if I stop him. Heaven help me!

February Quilts

Not so proud of these ones... I haven't devoted too much of my time to piecing and more to just whole pieces of fabric. It's easier.
