Today I am thankful for- THIS GUY!
Last night he took me to the IMAX theater to go see Enders Game (which was totally awesome, btw, and didn't stray from the book TOO much and it was just so totally awesomely awesome. Go see it)And do you want to know how REALLY awesome he is? Right now he is at the DMV getting the truck registered, so I don't have to do it. I despise DMV's. Long lines and creepy people (Why is that? Don't normal people have to go to the DMV too? Isn't it the great equalizer?)
I love that he does weird things like makes hovercrafts with the kids. Totem poles, zip lines, and tree houses are a likely possibility in our future as well.
I am grateful he is a woodworker, I love all the creations he makes. I think it's cute that he is researching and OCDing right now on how to be a blacksmith and a woodworker without power tools. Should the world ever revert back to pre-electricity days, Lohn will be able to make the tools from the iron-rich rocks he has been collecting, smelt them down to make tools, and use said tools to make us a log cabin. Seriously, I think he could do it.
Yep, my husband rocks.
