I am thankful for... (Part 2 in the Thanksgiving series)

MY MOM AND DAD!

Thank you Mom for teaching me the fundamentals of cooking, crocheting, sewing, and cleaning. Thank you for teaching me about God, Jesus Christ, how to be modest in my dress, honest in my dealings with my fellowmen, and virtuous and kind. Thank you for helping me write my papers, and being so strict on the use of correct grammar. You taught me how to be a good mother by being one. Someday I hope I master your magic ability to hold babies just the way they like it, and cook pumpkin cake the way you do.

Thank you Dad for teaching me the importance of education, and hard work. You are one of the smartest men I know, and certainly one of the hardest working.  I love the teaser/tormenter in you, as well as the seeker of beauty (photography). I love that you can strike up a conversation with random people and make them laugh. I have always been confident of your love for all of us kids (except I know you love me most). Bless you for teaching me to put ranch dressing on my potatoes, and to eat sweetened condensed milk straight from the can. My children thank you as well.

I miss and love you guys!
