In case ya'll fear that I've lost all Christmas Spirit due to last post...

I promise, I haven't. We have been listening to Christmas music. I have my favorite CD in the car, so I turn it on every time we leave the house. We have been watching Christmas shows. Also, I have my kids super excited about doing the twelve days of Christmas to a family. My mom and dad always had me do the drop, knock and run every Christmas. It taught me a lot about the joy of giving to others anonymously. Because of their great example, I plan on my kids doing the same thing this year. I remember the service being the most special part of Christmas, and I am trying hard to harness that feeling for my children to experience. I have not done much Christmas shopping yet, but that will start happening as soon as Lohn is done with finals. I really do love Christmas time, I promise. It isn't TOTALLY the month from Hell. Just the barfing, snotting, coughing, feverish side of it is. So no fear, you will never hear me say Bah Humbug!

Sorry you guys are sick, sounds terrible. Lucky Lohn doesn't get sick, especially at finals time! Your kids are going to love doing the 12 days of Christmas! Doing something for someone else are my best Christmas memories!

We are looking forward to testing this month from hell when we come next week. Hopefully it will be much better by then.

I got my shopping done like a month ago because I knew that if I waited I wouldn't have the energy to do it. So the other day I went to Toys R' Us with Heather and all I bought was one of those lint roller things. I felt awesome when I looked around and saw about 200 parents with a thousand dollars worth of toys in their carts. But I still had to wait in line for 15 minutes just to buy my lint roller. Sorry for the random story :) Thanks for listening. Happy to hear you haven't lost your Christmas spirit!
