My 2 computers died shortly after my last blog post. $500 later, I got them both back, totally wiped clean, including all my photos. Luckily, I was able to save the last years worth before it died completely. Anyway, now I get to blog again! Dearest blog, Oh how I have neglected thee!
As a family tradition, we fill the birthday child's room with balloons while they sleep.
It makes for a happy, excited morning. Can you see Sylas snoring away? (And snore he does. He can out-snore Lohn sometimes.)
I suspect my kids think the balloons just magically appear. Lohn and I get ZERO credit for all the lightheadedness that went into this effort.
For Sylas's birthday dinner, he requested oranges, strawberries and cheese pizza. "Not your square pizza, mom, the kind we buy that's a triangle that tastes yummy." Humph.
Time to open presents! Look at his faces in all of these!
Sylas me asked for a rainbow cake. Tamsyn heard my barely stifled groan and said to me with a hopeful expression, "Can I make it?!" And make it she did! She did a great job! Maybe I will never have to cook a birthday cake ever again. YAY!
I took Sylas to Redbox that day and let him pick out a movie.
I can't believe my baby is 5! In a few short months my last born will be in school, and then what will I do with myself all day???
