I think it is funny that all my blog post titles are different for this thankful series. I can't seem to find a title that I like, so I keep trying different ones.
Today I am thankful for this little guy!
I had the opportunity to go to his parent teachers conference this morning. I went with a bit of trepidation as I am a bit traumatized from his 2nd grade teacher. (Not his Grandma teacher, his Virginia teacher) She thought little boys should sit down and not wiggle. Ever. And while I had a really hard time with her, and felt she was too hard on my little guy, she did get us on track with medication for his ADHD. His grades went from C's and D's to straight A's. His 3rd grade teacher was great, she thought he was wonderful, and after todays conference, I have learned that his 4th grade teacher thinks very highly of him as well. Anders grades are top notch (Science, math and social studies he has 97%!) and she told me that organization is one of his strong points. Organization. (Hello, ADHD, take THAT) She told me that he is very polite, and he is a sweetheart. I am so happy he got a good teacher that appreciates him!
Ander never complains when I give him a job to do. He loves to help, loves to clean the bathroom, (BATHROOM!) and loves woodworking with his daddy. He can do the dishes like a boss, and raking the leaves off the porch is fun to him. He always holds the door open for people at church, and he can master any Wii game. He is funny, he is kind, and never makes fun of anyone. He is my obedient little guy that still loves hugs and cuddles from his mom. I love being his mom!
