Job interview update
Okay so the interview didn't go very well. Lohn accidently used the word "funnest" (he he, IDAHOAN) and when they asked why he wants to work for Bayer, He said "To be honest, Bayer has never been on my radar, until 6 weeks ago and saw the job and thought it would be a good fit." They didn't like that answer. What is he supposed to say? A bunch of gunk and mush about how wonderful Bayer is? (It's JUST aspirin, people) I hate how some companies just want to hire someone who is proficient at kissing butt. There are lots of people like that in the world who are as dumb as rocks. Anyway, I guess this wasn't the job for him, and we will keep looking. But many thanks to all my lovely friends and family who pulled "Enos's" for me. You guys are the bestest and "funnest" ;)

Aww, that's ok. I'm going to laugh if they call him, though... some of my jobs have come from the worst interviews ever. Ha.
I shall retain that glimmer of hope while also praying that he finds the perfect job. :)
Ha! Seriously? Are they waiting for someone to say "When I was a little kid, I dreamed of working for Bayer!"? I do still hope that you stay in South Bend. Please please please!!!!!
The exact same thing happened when Joel interviewed with Exxon Mobil. H was excited and met everyone the night before the interviews (this was the second, fly-out interview), but the morning of, he woke up feeling like he really wasn't interested. So he didn't know what to say since this was a company that recruited him instead of him being interested in the first place.
I'm with you, though. The applicants should be rewarded for their honesty.
But hang in there! He will get an offer from a company he is actually excited to work for. It almost makes the nail-biting wait worth it.
