Gunnar: Mom, what is that?
Me: Thats my birthday cake.
Gunnar: You are making your birthday cake BY YOURSELF? (insert astonished face)
Later after Gunnar tripped and tumbled
"Mom, when you fall down, thats how falling beats you. But when you stand up, thats how you beat falling"
Seriously? What a deep thought for a 4 year old.
