So I helped out at Ander's school today. As I was getting ready to leave, little Rebecca stopped me. Here is our conversation. Rebecca: "Anders mom, I tried to sing Ander a song on the bus and he wouldn't let me and I got SO angry at him and told him he wasn't my friend anymore! And I think he lied, he ISN'T in love with me!" (add emphatic arms in motion from little girl into your mental imagery.) Me: "Well, I think perhaps Ander is too little to be in love." Rebecca: "BUT WE'RE SIX YEARS OLD!!!" I was too stunned to know what to say next. I looked at Ander, and boy, did he look sheepish!

lol. That is the funniest thing I've ever heard. So did he actually tell Rebecca that he WAS in love with her? I always though he'd be a little heart breaker, he's so cute.
I asked him and, yes, he did tell her he was in love with her. We had a talk.
That was really cute. It's a good thing you gave him a "talk."
Dad wants to know if the talk was "about the birds and the bees?"
Mom watched Jade for us. And I just added a note in that post telling her thank you, I can't believe I forgot that in my post! She's great :)
